Hi all, I've just purchased a TL-WPA8630-KIT but when I try and pair the home button doesn't flash on the adaptor to enable me to press "pair" on the extender. Any ideas? It did flash once and I tried to pair but both the home button on the adaptor and the extender just momentarily flash red and then go off? got them both plugged into wall sockets next to each other, the adaptor is connected to the router via an ethernet cable.

Please download the tpPLC utility to pair them: 

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-wpa8630p-kit/#Utility

 

Below is the instruction to pair them: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1615/ 

 

If the home button flashes red, try to change another wall sockets to plug them.
