Hi service name for ppoe is not available
By when will you update this ?
Because I'm using an old tplink router for logging in my internet and then using the decco for mesh wifi but tplink base router is only 100mb LAN port and I have a 300megabit Netconnection so it's capping it at 100mb pleae fix this ASAP
Thanks

@TP_LINK is there any way you guys are releasing an update on firmware or you would rather see us suffer because this is an important feature and we have to login to our isp details every time we have an internet downtime.

Hi, what is the model number of your Deco system?
Currently, Deco X20 and Deco X60 with the latest firmware 1.5.0/1.5.1 already support "service name" and "access name" options when using PPPoE WAN connection;
For other models, we might still need to wait for a while;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Is there any update on this firmware update for India? It would be really helpful if you can provide the timelines/estimates. I am facing the same issue. I am using Deco M4R and my firmware version is 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 74289

Hi TP-Link..
Don't you see how many users are getting impacted just due to one setting parameter "Service Name". Why don't you release next version and get this fixed .
Kindly take this suggestion and action on this, as this kind of feedback may lower down the product sales.
Cheers
Shiv

Hi, the latest firmware on Deco E4, Deco M5, M9 plus as well as X20 and X60 already added "service name" and "access name" options when using PPPoE WAN connection.
For the Deco M4, it would be added as well, and please wait for a while for the firmware notification on the Deco APP;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Hi, i have just purchased the Deco M9 Plus V2. After seeing the instructions in this thread, I've managed do to a firmware update by connecting it as an Access Point to my existing router/modem. I've then reset the M9 by removing it from the Deco app (Which says it does a factory reset) and starting the setup process again.
I don't see any option for PPPoE. What do i need to do?
The firmware is now v 1.5.1 Build 20210126 Rel. 59387
For reference, I have a TPG NBN connection that uses a VLAN (id 2) with a PPPoE connection type that requires a username/password to connect.
thanks, Craig.

if there is still no service name or access name available, can I have a picture of this page?
Thank you very much.
