Model: AC50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 181217
Good morning,

MODEL ARCHER VR1200 V.1.0

I performed the installation as instructed.
I have done the firmware upgrade.
I have tried several times to reset to factory settings and to repeat the installation.
Nevertheless the result does not change.
All the devices connected in 5Ghz correctly browse the internet while for devices connected in 2.4ghz (any OS: windows, linux, android) it is showed that internet connection is not available. I can't even connect to the TPLink configuration interface even if connected in 2.4ghz.
In the control panel the wifi in 2.4ghz is correctly enabled (default settings).
In some cases, although everything is enabled, the 2.4ghz channel is not detected by the devices and not even the light on the modem is on (while for the 5. ghz there are no problems).

How could I solve?

@TheRiddle You may have  bad unit. First try changing the channel from auto to one of the available channels and also the channel width. You may be on a channel that has some type of interference in your house. Do not hide SSID (enable) and use different SSID names. Be sure the mode is 11bgn.  Leave WDS off for now. Disable any MAC filtering.

@TheRiddle

Please ensure that the 2.4GHz wifi network has been enabled and do not hide SSID; try to change the wireless settings to give it a go, including the wireless network name and channel, like channel 1, 6 and 11.

When it is connected but no internet access, please click here to get the IP address and gateway.

And then try to ping the gateway of the Archer VR1200, which is 192.168.1.1 by default and show us the results.

Try to change another wireless device to verify whether it has the same issue. And ensure that the firmware of the VR1200 is up to date.

Besides, when and where did you buy this Archer VR1200?

Good day.
