I get slow internet throughput on a new PA9020P bought this month. The line rates are high - which I can see from the TPLink utility for PA9020P; same room 1300-1400, next door room 1000mbps, furthest room is 500mbps; BUT in ALL instances the internet throughput never exceeds 130-140mbps; it is maxed out at this speed; I have a 500Mbps rate internet connection - I get the full speed throughput (ookla speedtest) at the router; but when the client devices access the internet via the PA9020P remote end it is limited to ~130mbps in any room, close or far, at any line rate.
I have seen several complaints posted about PA9020P with this problem and a support reponse highlighting a troubleshoot path 'case 1' and 'case 2' from TP-Link.
I am on 'case 2' what should I do - it just says contact TP-Link support.
To other potential buyers of PA9020P, it appears this is a very expensive mistake; yes the line rates are high best rate seenn 1300mbps (never can I get 2000mbps) but internet data throughput is rate limited - very slow performance! seems customers only realise when they move to fibre to home internet speeds above 300mbps.
There is a QoS setting on PA9020P but that does not help.
