Trying to set up new 4G LTE router in France with RED(SFR) SIM card which works fine with my iPad.
Router won't recognise that a SIM card is in place.
any suggestions?
What is the network type of the SIM card? Please ensure that it is compatible with the MR6400.
Try to change another SIM card and verify whether it can be detected.
Besides, please login to the web UI of the MR6400 and show us a picture of the status page.

SIM card is 4G. Is that not suitable?

i find it strange that I was not asked for the sim pin (as on the iPad or phone)
