I recently moved to Cyprus and bought an AC1750 router from the UK so I could use it here. 

Forgive me but my networking knowledge is not great, but the AC1750 is an ADSL router but the connection I have here in Cyprus is DSL. I've tried connecting the router but it won't work. Should I have bought the AC1200?

Hello, Archer C7 is the regular wireless router, not the DSL modem router. 

 

You can double check the model number. 

 

For your information, the model number of DSL modem router starts with TD-Wxxx or Archer VRxxx, like TD-W9970, Archer VR400, Archer VR900 and so on.
