Archer MR200 (V3) "No SIM card detected" error
Archer MR200 (V3) "No SIM card detected" error
Hello there.
I just got TP-Link MR200 (V3) recently for 3G/4G connections via sim card, but suddenly the router won't detect the sim card anymore
and keep getting the "no sim card detected" error.
Tried reseting it and plug/unplug the sim card but still got the same result. Is there any way to fix it?
Doubt the sim card is the problem because it's working without problem on my phones
Thanks.

Hello, have you ever tried to change another sim card to verify whether it can be detected?
May I know when and where did you buy it? What is the serial number of it?
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hello, you can find the serial number on the back of the actual device. It is S/N.
Besides, may I know when and where did you buy this MR200?
Good day.

The same story. Sim card is not detected anymore after a couple of weeks.
Tried to change cards, plug/unplug, reset.

Try to reboot the router with the SIM card inserted into the router.
And you can unplug the SIM card and plug it back to the router and repeat it several times.
If still the same, you can contact the retailer or the local tech support and verify whether replacement is qualified.
Good day.

Reboot and reset don't help. Doesn't see a sim card.
Looking for exchange. It's a new one, should not be a problem

I see, thanks for your reply.
It seems that the SIM card does not match the slot perfectly, you can contact the retailer to get a new one and then test whether it works well.
Any updates, be free to let us know.

Sim card fits the slot well. I tried differents ones. Even I did not touch it before it spoiled after a week working. Something wrong is inside the device

Similar situation: No SIM card detected and Error Code:1on the browser pages, but, actually, the connection works. However, I cannot see the state of the connection (which is reported as don) and the internet IP I I get fr the provider.
Very annoyng.
