Archer c6 "no internet access" and sometime not connecting to the wifi saying "limited connection"
I've faced basiccally two kind of problems. Am I received a faultly product?
- Sometimes in some of my connected devices showing "no internet access" but at the same time the other routers connceted with same internet have internet access.
- Sometimes Some device could not connected to the router but the wifi are showing in the list. After some time of tring it show "limited connection" even I'm setting beside the router.
Every time at the time of problem I instantly connected to my another router which is tplink TL-WR841N, connected to the main WAN and that was working perfectly. Archer c6 is connected with the WR841n with wire and dynamic IP setup.
The problem always fixed every time after restart the router. I need to restart the router almost two to three times a day which the other one is on from long time. I've even forgot when I've turned off my WR841N.
Does I've received a faulty archer c6.

@KingRabbid Thanks for your kind suggestions. 3ESV's C6 hardware is v3.20, so the firmware is up-to-date.

@Kevin_Z Hello Kevin, how it looks like with the official FW with this update? ;-) It's a quite long time from the last official one... I asked my seller about this unofficial update and they told me if I use it it is again warranty rules... :-/ Thanks, Jiri.

The official firmware is still under development, so we cannot provide you an ETA. If you have encountered an issue with the current firmware, please try to install this official beta firmware we provided, and follow the upgrade steps to install it, it should be fine.

@3ESV Check also in Security->Settings if your device somehow got on the blocked list for any flood attacks. This was the problem in my case...
I had ICMP-FLOOD attack filtering on the low setting and my Mac Mini was getting blocked internet access on rare occasions totally randomly...
After more than half a year of problems nobody thought of that...myself included...
After a router restart everything was back to normal...
But I still needed the latest beta version for Archer A6 version which fixed the 2.4G drop issue.

Thanks for the hint, I came across a disconnect today and verified that the IP is blocked by router
Internet connection restored after deleting the IP from the blocked list .

@Kevin_Z I am a computer software developer, so any activity is a special activity for most users
It could be, last time I believe I was connected to VPN and in a MS Teams meeting when it happened.

In my case the devices that got blocked are my office laptop where VPN connection and MS Teams runs, and a mobile phone which was not accessed throughout the day
I don't see any extended logs from the router
