Deco M9 Plus V2 problem
Hi
I have an issue with the Deco M9 Plus V2.
Story: I bought a set of 3 Deco M9 Plus V1 and they works fine with the app. I wanted to expand my network and bought a new set of 3 Deco M9 Plus.
They new Decos turned out to be Deco M9 Plus V2. No problem connecting the new Decos in the app.
Now to my issue:
The M9 Plus V2 does not look the same as my Deco V1 in the app. I can´t see what devices are connected to the V2.
Even a iMac connected directly to LAN doesn´t show up, but internet works. Even less if there are wireless devices connected.
I want full control of my network. I believe it should work, it said so on the package.
What can we do to solve my problem?

Hi all, sorry to respond late.
For the issues or inquiries you guys ask, we will try to clarify one by one:
1. We have recently released a new firmware for the Deco M9 Plus V2, and below is the download link, which is marked Deco M9 Plus(EU)_V2_200324, or Deco M9 Plus(US) _V2_200324 on the local official website:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Firmware
2. This new firmware can ONLY be updated via the Upgrade Tool, you cannot update it via web nor on the Deco app. Upgrade Tool can be downloaded from the below link:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Utility
3. If someone cannot log into the Upgrade Tool with your TP-Link ID and password, please try to forget your password on your Deco app and login again to confirm it is correct, do remember that both the ID and password are case-sensitive:
What if I forget the password of my TP-Link ID?
Note: If you still fail to update or login, please reply with some details, such as what is the computer operating system, what is the error message, it is suggested to try different computers.
Thank you all.

Hello, the Deco M9 plus V2 does not support such features yet; it won't display which client is connected to which deco and which Wi-Fi band or display how Decos are connected to each other.
However, these new features will be added via firmware upgrade in the near future, we will push forward our RD team to release it as well,
You can keep an eye on Deco APP or official website for the updates.
Thanks for your kindly understanding in advance. Good day.

I'm sorry, still no ETA yet, we will contact our R&D team and we will keep you posted if there is any update.
And as far as I know, the new firmware for Deco M9 plus V2 is under testing now; Once it passed all the tests for compatibility/stability performance, it will be released soon.
We will push our RD team to speed up also.

Why not a Beta Release like you do in so many other devices?! for an High End product (and expensive), this is completely unacceptable. Like many other costummers on this forum, I have no other option than return the devices... what a disapointment from TpLink - don´t expect it!!

Just bought a 3-pack, connected it al up and discovered I can't do anything with the app. No Web-Gui, nog insights, nothing. Gonna return it immediatly and never going to buy tp-link ever again.

Can we get an update on this? The lack of features is really concerning considering what I could have bought for the same price. I'm not even able to see which deivices are connected to which deco. I can't see how decos are connected with eachother, I anything actually.
I think we deserve some information on this. At least tell us if these features are not coming so that we can buy other systems.
