Any idea when the R&D team will have an update for onemesh on the ax11000? This is your top of the line router, seems like something that should be a priority. Asus already has their mesh firmware on many of their higer end routers, which includes their ax11000.  Thanks for your responses!

@G-Guy

Hi, the developer does provide a beta version for the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000, you can install it on yours if you want to build up an Onemesh network with an existing Onemesh range extender. Get the download link from the below thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/261318

The official version will be available soon, you can wait for the official version if you don't want to use the beta firmware.

Thanks a lot.

Hello, sorry to tell you that the estimated supporting time is still unsure, we will let our RD team know and ask them to release the new firmware with onemesh feature more quickly.

Thanks for your kindly understanding in advance. Good day.

And for the ax6000 model?

Asus has practically upgraded most of its routers to Aimesh. And it works with any router and not just repeaters.

As I understand TP Link will only work with a one router and the other points only repeaters. Is this information correct?

@Kevin_Z

I just purchased the AX11000 myself this past week. I also would like to know when OneMesh is available on the TP-LINK AX1100.  Now that I have it for a while, i started to appreciate how ASUS AiMesh system is pretty good at unifying all of the ASUS routers together.  The OneMesh system would allow me to consider adding other TP-LINK devices in the house as oppose to using other brands to augment the wifi coverage.

I would not have bought the AX11000 if i didn't think it was going to do OneMesh. The TP Link website SAID it supported it and now thats change.. So frustrating

@zadigre

Hello, thanks for bringing this up.

Sorry that there is currently no exact date or time expectation for the new firmware of AX11000 supporting Onemesh, it is suggested to keep an eye on the official website to get more updates.
