@Tallboy22

Good day.

Can I have some pictures of the grey out address reservation?

Have you checked if your address reservation profiles are over 32?

And there is another firmware and if possible, please try to update to the following firmware:

Archer MR400(EU)_V3_20190730

https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201908/20190826/Archer%20MR400(EU)_V3_20190730.zip

Thank you very much.

Update:

There would be a beta firmware to fix the issue that after adding 9 profiles, the address reservation would be gray out.

Please send a message to me and I could send you the firmware.

Thank you.

Hello all, sorry to respond late.

As for the Address Reservation page greyed out issue you are experiencing, our developer had provided beta firmware to resolve it, you may give it a go.

For MR200_v3/v4, MR400_v2/v3, MR6400_v3/v4 (all shares the same beta):

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202002/20200219/LTE_GATEWAYv3_1.6.0_0.9.1_up_boot(181210)_2018-12-10_16.53.13.zip

For TL-MR6400(EU) V4 00000002_200829:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202008/20200831/LTE_GATEWAYv3_1.10.0_0.9.1_up_boot(200829)_2020-08-29_09.46.36.zip

For TL-MR3420(EU)_v5:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202010/20201012/TL-MR3420v5_1.4.0_0.9.1_up_boot(200927)_2020-09-30_17.14.08.zip

BTW, this issue has already been fixed on the latest firmware of the VR models, please update your firmware to the latest if you experience this issue, thank you.

@Kittentakara

Hello, how many address reservation entries you have added already?

Theoretically, the Archer MR400 V3 supports up to 32 entries;

Besides, please ensure that the firmware is up to date.

Good day.

@Kittentakara  I also have this problem -seems to occur when I have more than one-screen's worth of address reservations, which given I've got a number of smart home devices I'd like static IPs for, is pretty quickly.   Any sign of a fix for this from TP Link?

The best solution did not work,

The router is broken and i was refused a replacement, I managed to get the retailer who sold it to me to accept my return and got my money back and got a better non TP LINK router, best thing i have done, Will never buy another TP Link product as long as i live, just look how long it took get back to me ..... and the solution did not fix it.

@Sunshine

Screen shot attached.  For clarity this is from a MR6400, so it appears the problem is affecting multiple TP link devices.  It starts happening after reserving about 9 addresses - certainly nowhere near the 32 it should do.  Response from TPlink tech support in private communication has been poor.  It apparently needs new firmware, which is currently in R&D.  For a product that's been around 4+ years, that's pathetic; TP link should not be releasing half-finished products, and expecting the public to debug them.  I'll be ditching the whole lot soon for a refund, and heading elsewhere.
