@dennisx

Hello, it is normal, actually it is designed so.

To make calculation easier, we usually regard 1000Kbps as 1Mbps. And once the bandwidth is larger than 1000Kbps, we use Mbps; the Kbps is mainly used for those who have the upload bandwidth lower than 1000Kbps(1Mbps).

And with QoS enabled, which makes your devices get speed as the actual needs respectively, the CPU will handle the data packets, which will affect the maximum speed to can get.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z

I have this error message too, but my problem is how to set upload to 1200Kbps. You can't put in 1.2Mbps, and clearly the difference between 1 and 2 Mbps is significant when you're taking a percentage of it.

Seems like really poor design.

regards

Dave

@dave1998 Hi Dave,

Did you ever find a fix for setting a 1.2mbps speed?

Thank You

Hi, even if the implementation method may seem strange and unorthodox, it actually works as Kevin explained, for the majority of users who have speeds below 1000Kbps which is the majority. However, forcing the BitRate down is also obvious that it will give you an error, but it warns you with a PopUp message that the speed cannot be lower than the real one. Why don't you keep 1000Kbps by default so that you have all the available bandwidth? isn't it a simpler method than complicating your life with senseless methods?

@PasKy

Thanks for your reply.

I'm glad it works for the majority of users. Imagine if all software was made that way...
