Hi,

My wifi has been having issues recently,  but after carrying skys broadband checker everything seems fine with their end. Only way I can get the issue to resolve is to unplug the TP link switch. I tried unplugging the outgoing cables from the switch 1 by 1 but even with no cables left (except for the link between sky router and tp link switch) the problem remained. I unplugged that link cable and everything is now fine.

It's been ok for about a year leading up to thos so not sure what could cause this all of a sudden. Any ideas?

@Dazzer-b

What is the wifi issue you have? And what is the current network diagram?

With your devices connected to the TP-Link switch directly, do they work normally?

Please ensure that there is no IP conflict, the default IP address for the switch is 192.168.0.1.

Good day.

@Kevin_Z , I have the same issue, mentioned.

when i connect tp link switch to wifi, internet in the whole network turns off.
When the lan of switch is directly connected to a pc, it is working normally.

My network is as follows:

isp> router> switch> switch> pc

                                           > pc

                              >printer

                              > pc

                              >printer

                   >wireless devices

                   >dvr

ISP > ROUTER > SWITCH > SWITCH > PC
              > PC
      > WIRELESS DEVICES
      > DVR
          > PRINTER1
          > PRINTER2
          > PC
