@Kevin_Z

I have the identical issue. My AX10 router is 7 months old and was working very well until 30 days ago where it randomly starts rebooting. Today, I downloaded the Tether app for my iPhone and barely managed to update the firmware. The problem has now gotten worse.

Really considering returning this back to the vendor for another brand.

While this post does not help. I have used several routers up till now and no matter what the brand is, I have noticed 2 peculiar issues with all routers that I have used including TP Link and Dlink

1. Router automatically reboots after continuous 3 - 4 days of operation

2. Router loses Internet or WiFi loses Internet after 3 - 4 days and only way to get back is manually restart the router

I sometimes think that consumer routers are not that resilient.

Regards.

Please firstly ensure the AX10 firmware is up-to-date. If not, update the firmware first.

Try to reset the AX10 to factory defaults either by pressing the RESET button or doing factory defaults via its web interface page, then reconfigure it from scratch to check again if it will auto reboot itself.

If it still happens, please check if there is any special client that connected to the AX10 network will cause this auto reboot, you may connect one at a time to locate it.

Try to set the Wi-Fi Transmit Power to middle or low (if the setting is currently set to high), and see if this helps with the issue.

Meanwhile, ensure you are using the original power adapter that comes with the package, which should be 12 V ⎓ 1 A.

Hi, which firmware are you referring to? I have updated the Recommended Solution as the issue had been resolved with the latest firmware on the AX10/AX1500, you should upgrade your firmware to the latest official version.

However, if you do encounter the same, kindly provide more details about the issue, then we can confirm.

@cvi888

Have you referred to and confirm all the settings or parameters we published here?

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/270746

If yes, please provide additional information as follows, we will confirm soon:

1. How many devices are connected to router, wired, and wirelessly?

2. Is there any other setting or feature in your network that may cause this restart issue, or is there any special operation/activity in your network that causes the router to restart?

3. Does this issue happen when you purchased router, or it happens after running properly for some time?
