Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.9.27

I have poor Internet signals on wifi. I have 100/100 from my internet provider. When i do speed test IT varies a lot. Some times up to 100, but more often 40-50 Mbps. Sometimes It drops to 3-5. Terrible when gaming. My internet  provider have tested that they provide 100/100 to the modem. They point to the Decos as the problem. What can I do? I have provided info on fastware versjon etc above but I am not sure if it is correct. I am not very technical. My plan was to buy a good product that in advertising promised easy set up and problem free fast connection. So far this is not so. Is it possible with support in Norwegian? By telephone?

@Fredrik_w

Hi, we provide English service for our global customers; and I checked the local website, they provide English service by telephone only.

I would make myself simple and clear to let you understand. Please provide us the information below to do further analysis.

1. What is the current network topology? Which means, how you connect these devices together? by wired cable, or wireless?

2. When the speed slows down, try to test the speed on the Deco app and show us a screenshot. You can open Deco app, go to more-advanced-test internet speed page.

3. In the meantime, please connect your computer to the modem directly, bypass the Deco and test the speed you can get from the modem when the Deco slows down.

4. You can swap the locations of  the Deco units; or switch the slave Deco to the main Deco to rule out whether it is the specific Deco or the network environment.

5. Besides, have you ever enabled QoS yet? You can add gaming into application QoS to give it a go.

Good day.
