I have the hs110 device installed at home which I am controlling remotely. I know that the device is connected to the cloud and it communicates its public IP regularly. Is there a way to know the domain name associated to the plug and used by the app?

DNS is not used to talk to the KASA device.
The device talks to the TP-Link Server, and your Phone talks to the TP-Link Server, and the Server passes the info between them.
