Powerline adapter and wired connection query...

I have a Powerline adapter which we recently wired to the Sky Q box and my son is convinced that the 'juice is being sucked into the telly' and consequently away from his Xbox which is a tragedy on a monumental scale....

is this possible and, if we get another Powerline adapter, will this be operating from a compromised signal?

All advice welcome, including how to manage a 12 year old who's friends all seem to have 'miles better internet than us'...

@HalfOrc

What is the model number of your powerline adapter? What about their actual performance? Including stability and speed?

We can add another powerline adapter to boost the wifi signal or provide LAN ports, but it is hard to guarantee its performance, cause it is more related to the actual network environment.

If the current connection is weak, you can add an additional adapter and please verify the warranty policy in advance, if it does not work well as expected, you can return it.

Good day.
