Vr400 keeps disconnecting from internet

I have vr400 and I keep losing internet from time to time for at least a few min. Both wifi and LAN.
When I look on my phone its connected to the wifi but it says "internet may not be available"
My internet supplier says he didn't see any disconnections on his side.

I've been having the same problem with the same model for months. I tried everything but nothing seems to fix the unstable connection. Can someone please help?

I have the same issue here. Random disconnects that are not an actual sync drops. Happens more often when using the full upload bandwidth. Takes several minutes to recover or needs a reboot. ISP says no issue, doesn't do it with my old Openreach modem etc.

@Saydon same problem here, tried factory restoring but still nothing. loosing connection mulitple times per day now

Same here, late evening or overnight it disconnects, I don't see it rebooting in the logs. I saw a suggestion elsewhere that V3 hardware (eg C1200) got this update on 13.05.2020:
"Improved connection stability, fixed issue that router disconnects due to frequent DHCP requests"
I think we need to persuade TPLink to issue a firmware update for our VR400 V2 to address that issue that seems like the one we are suffering.
I've already asked Support for this - I would ask everyone on this thread to contact TPlInk support too and request the same, hopefully they will then do it.

Iam updated to latest version and still facing that issue
internet goes off though internet lamb light is on
i try to disconnects from settings it doesn't work you have to reboot

@zageng To be honest I think I've had the issue subsequent to applying the new firmware, so not fixed. Sigh...

i have just installed that firmware a few hours ago
that firmware is found on UK site only and not found in our country let's see if it will fix the problem
I don't know why tplink doesn't release it for all countries at one time
