Good day,

I have installed the extender via all the ways possible. I register to the host router and the name changes with "ext" at the end and it retains the same password and I can connect to it. Problem is the IP range in the host and the extender is different. My host is a 192.168.8.1 and the extender gets 192.168.0.254 on all attempts and also doesn't connect to the internet cos of the range.

i have tried disabling the dhcp and enabling it still no success. The host has dhcp enabled.

The default IP address of the extender is 192.168.0.254, but once you set it up, the IP address will be assigned by the main router.

Back to this case, we can do further analysis to locate this issue and try to fix it.

1. What is the led status of the TL-WA855RE?

2. Please use the main router's wifi password to configure it. Please log into the web UI of the extender and show us some screenshots, including the network map page and the network page.

Note: Please click the extender's icon and show us the full screenshot of the network map page.

3. May I know what is the model number of the main router?
