@Cretu

Thanks very much for the update. Sorry to hear that the Dahua camera cannot connect to the WPA2-PSK (AES) wireless network.

BTW, may I have its model? Thanks.

@Gekke-Gerrit

Hello, do you mean Deco M4R? You can install the beta firmware for the Deco M4, they are the same:

Thanks.

@Cretu

Thanks so much for your info. Sorry that you may need to plug it into the Deco with a cable or change the security back to the mixed WPA2-PSK (AES)+WPA-PSK (TKIP).

@Cretu

I had the same issue with two Amcrest WiFi camreas. It looks like even though they were capable of connecting to AES only, since they had originally connected as TKIP they would only reconnect to TKIP. Luckily I have another router in my network that I could connect them to. What I had to do was switch the Deco back to TKIP which allowed the cameras to reconnect. I then logged into them and connected them to the other WiFi SSID, switched the Deco back to AES only, and then I could switch the cameras back over to the Deco.

@AlanF

Hello,

May I also have the model number of your two Amcrest WiFi cameras?

What does this sentence mean "switched the Deco back to AES only, and then I could switch the cameras back over to the Deco."?

@AlanF

I'm able to connect to the camera, I tried another Ssid, also tried adding manually with the same result.

Being just one device from 30 :) it's OK, switched to cable.

I think in my case the camera is just a little retarded 😂 because I have an ethernet cable connected but I can access the device on both IPs eth and wlan... even if wlan is off.

@TP-Link_Deco

Maybe instead of just a simple link to all available firmwares you should keep the "best solution page" and just add all the links.
