@darant

I guess it is possible to connect to the same transmitter twice... but you would still be sharing that transmitters bands bandwidth right?
Is it possible the same mast has two transmitters on the same band?

If you can get band 3 from one mast, and another band 3 from another mast, then it is possibe the same mast could have two transmitters on band 3 for your provider... maybe directional... then you could get 3,3 from the same mast...

This is all based on logic, I do not know if it is possible, or whether they do this.

All i know is, i have line of sight to one mast, and i get 100% signal, but a single band 3 connection. It never doubles up for LTE

Me too, mine only gets connected to one band 3, even if selected band 3 on both channel. Will test it at different location over the weekend. Would be great if it gets connected two same bands and double up the speed, maybe it's wishful thinking. Anyone here able to connect to two same band?

@Cozzer101 I may be too late for this reply as I've only just joined the community... looking for answers to these common issues, specifically loss of connection at random intervals.

Yes, I've tried the latest and greatest firmware (didn't fix the issue), then the Beta version discussed in this thread (which fixed the problem, but made the UI ugly), then back to the last firmware (the problem returned)... and finally I've settled on the Beta version ( 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 ) and I'll live with the ugliness.  No connection loss for a whole day!

No issues with installation at any time.

My hardware is reported as Archer MR600V1, I'm operating in '4G only' network mode in France, with 'Manual' network search on Bouygues.  Band A is set to 'Band3' and Band B to 'Band20'.

I hope this helps.

Cheers... Paul
