Hello,

 

Can someone help me with my router TL-WR941HP sometimes it disconnect from internet wired and wifi and will only return if i restart the router.

 

Strange thing when it happen, also admin panel 192.168.0.1 is not available to access.. 

 

I upgraded to the lastest available firmwire, available for brazilan model.

 

I didnt have any problems with my old cisco router, no issues with my internet or isp, im sure is something about my router.

 

Am i missing something or should i ask a replace?

 

Some few more technical ref,

About 5 devices on wifi, using only 2.4ghz

2 on cable.

 

 

And configured to use 75% cover range as default.

According to your description, it seems the router hangs, can you please check the below details?

 

1. After upgrading the router firmware to the latest on the official website, did you reset the router to its factory by choosing Factory Defaults on the router admin page or by pressing its reset button? If not yet, give it a go first.

 

2. When the router hangs, how about the LEDs on it? Are they normal by referring to the UG?

 

3. When it hangs, can you ping it from the devices connected to it?

 

4. Is there any special activity when it hangs like downloading large files or playing online games?

1 - tks ill give a try on factory reset.. i didnt do that after update firmware

2 - all leds are normal when it happen.. full white

3 - i didnt try, but since i cant access even the admin panel i wont be able to ping also...

4 - nothing special, just normal use as everyday...

 

Well we just need to wait then, i dont know if will happen again.. i hope if it will stop to hang..

@Solla-topee unfortunally your solution to do a factory reset after updade the firmware didnt work.. the router suddely stopped again today from nothing, it only back to work if i reset it.

 

Is there any another hint for what happening?

 

as far i know here.

 

- no isp problem and no problem at all with my cisco router before this router

- firmware updated to last verion and factory reset after that.

- cant ping router and any device when this happen.

- leds sounds normal like everything is fine

- no special activies detected

- tried to configure wifi on another channels but doesnt seems the problem since even the wired connection suddely stop.

@k9thiago I'm having the same issue did you manage to find a solution? It's so annoying to keep restarting my router...

no, i just gave up and returned this junk router.. then i bought a tenda mw3 and solved all my problems FOR LESS THAN A HALF of the price of this router.. if you can still return just do it and get another router.
