Archer AX6000 Firmware upgrade ruined everything. Cant go back?
Hi bought the Archer AX6000 and i was happy enough with it. NO real issues.
Yesterday I got an update for firmware, which i did using the Routers inbuilt tool.
Then the problems began.
I couldnt reconnect any of my Google Home speakers each complaining the Netowrk was in AP mode, which is clearly wasnt.
I factory reset the router and started from scratch which took a considerable ammount of time but i still cannot get the home network back to its pre Firmware upgrade state.
All day yesterday your support site was offline for me which is pretty unacceptable, there was no way i could get the old Firmware downloaded so....
I eventually gave up and today have downloaded the 2 previous official EU firmwares. 2020/02/12 and 2019/08/02.
Unzipped them and connected to the router via rj45 to flashback to the previous version... Its not the first time i do firmware i know what im doing.
AND... Nope it just says nope. cannot do it. It wont accept an older file?
Please i am so fed up with this damn router.
I thought id be upgrading to a decent wifi6 experaince with everything i need for the next 5 years but nope its a massive pain in the arse to be honest and im regrettting the purchase.
I cant even find patch notes on the firmware that got updated.... its like its a ghost release
PLEASE PLEASE
Help !

@SteveMoz Thank you, I just saw your post, my AC Adapt is also 4000mA (and from eBay) and i am trying out a larger amperage AC Adapter from a old cable modem. It seemed to work fine at the moment with the newest TP-Link 1.1.1 Build 20200714 rel.18254 firmware.
I did have an issue with my 5G wireless not displaying so after install the new firmware, i factory reset the device and everything seemed to fix itself.

@Efour Well here is an update that i was not hoping to do.
My 5Ghz now works like a dream. No more random dropping out.
My 2.4Ghz........ well it works but it seems to drop out randomly, and not due to wifi interference in the area.
There also seems to be a bridging error with the handoff from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz internally. So much so that it has rendered most of my Homekit devices that require a 2.4Ghz signal useless in homekit. On saying that they work in their native apps but you have to try a half dozen times while you wait for the 2.4Ghz to grab the connection again.
So not totally useless but not as it was before the update or as stable as the 1.0.6 update.
Lets see what Kevin has to say about this one.
Come on TP LInk it's a basic feature of your routers that has been around since the early Archer series, surely you cant have screwed these firmwares up that badly?
