Deco m9 plus v2 update?

Hello, I would like to know if there will be a new update for this version. I bought this product thinking that I would solve my Internet connection problems, and I see that if it fulfills its function but has very limited functions and for the price it has I find that it does not meet the expectations, that is why I speak for many users who need to know if this version will have a new update since it has been many months and we have only received answers avoiding the subject.
Please we need to know if this version will have a new update and especially if you will have concisable improvements

when are you releasing a new version of the update utility that will work on windows 10?
Also after updating to this March 1.4.0 version will future updates then be available through the deco app? (Hopefully a new update soon with a lot more functionality).

Thanks for bringing this up.
No worries that the Deco M9 Plus won't be EOL as some customers doubt and we will keep releasing new firmware in the future updates.
However, this 1.4.0 version can only be updated via the Upgrade Tool locally in order to avoid any possibility that the upgrade may fail on the Deco app.

Hi, the Ethernet cable came with Deco M9 Plus V2 is a CAT5e one, which supports a gigabit connection.

Hello, what is the operating system and version of your computer? Is it also a Windows 10?
If possible, it is suggested to try to run this upgrade tool on another computer to give it a shot.

@TP-Link_Deco In my case I have 2 Windows 10 computers and 2 Linux Kubuntu 18.04 computers. What is the suggested system to use to upgrade with?

Hello, this Upgrade Tool can only be installed on a Windows computer or MAC, so it is suggested to try on your Windows 10.

I managed to get the update utility to log in and work on my fourth try of different laptops and third Windows 10 device.
It updated both deco m9 plus v2 devices (I have only two connected at the moment) quickly, easily and both at the same time over wireless connection to the main deco.
The app shows both have the new firmware- even though only the main deco is only showing up in the 'Update Deco' section.
