2 range extenders in different part of house with some overlap should they be given different names
Hello, I have 2 TP Link re200 range extenders (not daisy chained) in separate parts of my home, there is some overlap due to the nature of my home. Should they be given different names and passwords (SSID?) so mobile devices and their users don't get comfused if they are in the overlaping spot?
Also should mobile devices be able to seamlessly go from one main router to extender - during a wifi call for instance - if the caller is walking around the house. Currently this doesn't happen - if you start a call by the router then roam to the bedroom where the extender gives the best signal often the call cuts out as the mobile sticks with the signal from the router. We are on EE and have and EE router.
any thoughts greatly appreciated. thanks
