Archer AX6000 2.4 GHz not working
Hello!
I seem to be having a similar issue to other users.
After a clean start, both 2.4 and 5G work fine. Usually several hours later, the 2.4 band becomes unavailable. It doesn't appear on any of my devices for more than a brief and occasional moment, and I can't connect to it. 5G works just fine.
I did a factory reset, and the issue happened again.
Is there a beta firmware that can solve this? Or are there steps I can take to clarify the issue at hand?

Hello, thanks for reporting this issue to the community.
We may need to check some more details in order to locate the issue:
1. Are both 5G and wired connections on the AX6000 stable?
2. What are the devices that connected to the 2.4G that will lose the internet? Is the 2.4G network still visible on your phone or computers?
3. If the 2.4G connection drops out, how will it recover, do you need to reboot the AX6000 or just wait and it will connect back automatically?
We have released a beta firmware if the 2.4G network is not working properly in your network, please give it a go:
Here is the guide to upgrade the firmware:

May it helps.

There is a newest beta version?
I have 1.1.1 Build 20200714 rel.18254, since 2-3 weeks been working fine and after scheduled reboot past Sunday, 2.4GHz stop working at all (not change in the config at all).
Wireless config was set to 'smart connect' and security as WPA2/3 and version in auto; now I disable 'smart connect' and try almost all combination of 2.4Ghz, no luck.
BTW, 5GHz work almost fine, a lag of around 1-2 minutes for the device to connect, when previous was almost instant.

Hi, can you still see the 2.4GHz wireless network on your 2.4GHz clients, is it still broadcasting? How about the 2.4GHz guest network, can you connect to it?
Try to reset the AX6000 to factory defaults as below and reconfigure it from scratch to give it a go:

Sorry that we don't have new beta firmware for the issue you encountered currently.

@ZebraMilk did you resolve your problem?
I have exactly the same issue with this router and it was caused by USB 3.0 flash drive attached to the router. It causes interference with the 2.4Ghz band. When i unplugged the flash drive everything is working fine.

Hello, thanks for your kind and valued sharing.
Is the 2.4GHz connection stable now after you removed the USB3.0 hard drive? You may also try to change different wireless channels for the 2.4GHz to give it a shot.
Nice day~

Hi, do you mean all the Google Home and smart lights are disconnecting from the AX6000 2.4GHz network even with the latest 200714 firmware? How often does this disconnect issue happen on these smart devices? Have you tried to change the 2.4GHz wireless channel on the AX6000, such as channel 1, 6, or 11, channel width to 20MHz?

@Kevin_Z yes, everything is working fine without the USB flash drive. I'm using channel 6 on 2.4Ghz band /width 20Mhz/ and don't have disconnections from my devices.

Thanks again for your reply. If that is the case, there seems to be interference between the USB3.0 connection and the 2.4GHz network. It is suggested to try with a USB extension cable or try to USB2.0 port, then confirm if it will still affect the 2.4GHz.
