Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I bought a powerline adapter kit long ago and could use it perfectly with my previous router. Now I got a new router from a different service provider and this new router works at the 5Ghz frequency band; I've tried to pair the devices anyways but they won't. Im not sure if the issue is that the adapters only work at 2.4Ghz frequency and the router works at 5Ghz or its a powerline issue.

Thanks,

Eduardo

@Battistini98

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

The power-line adapters would work no matter the main router has Wi-Fi or not, 2.4ghz only or 2.4ghz and 5ghz both supported.

Now, please check the following information:

Are the power-line lights lit up on both adapters?

--if no, please reset the TL-WPA4220 by holding the reset button for 10s then pair them again;

(it would be much better to put them into the same room and once they are paired, move it back.)

Thank you very much.
