Deco M4 ethernet to computer not working

Hi folks,
So far, I have one Deco M4 set up and the WiFi is working perfectly. Now, I want to connect my laptop using the ethernet cable to the 2nd port on my Deco to connect to the internet (the wifi on my laptop is for unrelated reasons disabled).
However, "Unknown Network, No internet access" is the result at my laptop.
When I diagnose the network: "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration".
I would have expected automatic internet access after connecting my laptop through an ethernet cable to my main Deco, why is this not working?

I had the same issue. While I was setting up, I connected two laptops (one Dell and One Macbook) and it worked fine. Then, a day or so later, both laptops stopped connecting via the LAN cables and would connect only via wifi.
I now seem to have come right. In the advanced settings, I saw that IP6 was disabled so I turned that on. I also updated to the latest firmware and my ethernet connections have now been restored.
The IPTV options proposed by KJ1 didn't work for me and caused the internet to be lost altogether.

Hi, no need to change the IPV6 settings.
And the VLAN here more refers to IPTV VLAN (instead of Internet VLAN), which is used for IPTV subscription service.
