@Jaytea @TP_LINK I am having the same problem can I please have the fix?  

 

Sky Router -> Deco P9 system set of 3

 

Having issues with both wired and wireless connections.  Impacting Printer, TV, Sky TV Box, and Son's laptop.  Phones, tablets, and my laptop all seem to be OK.

Hello,

 

I recently bought P9 to replace my old powerline adapter and I guess I will have to switch back to my 10 years old powerline.

 

The communication is very unstable, I tried installing the firmware from https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202101/20210118/Deco_P9_1.1.3_20210115_debug.zip, but still same problem, it drops randomly after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours, this was never happening with my old powerline adapter.

 

Do you have an idea what it could be?

@levo I can't see any "System Parameters" option. How did you enabled it?

@jjgalera you can find them in the system section on the Deco WEBUI for the router, the App doesnt show them

@Andyl73 my P9 does not have that option in the web ui.. screenshots are from mobile, but I've tested it also on a pc

@jjgalera do you see it in the IPV4 option of the Advanced settings page of the App?  It also appears in there.

I still don't understand why there's still no advanced option in settings to force a particular backhaul method (i.e. force powerline). This is a premium product for power users - we should be able to dictate how we want our system to operate. It would also be good to have a connection test option between nodes so we can see connection speed, latency etc to test optimise our home networks.
