Firmware Version:

I have replaced my nbn modem with the 2nd gen & now I can't get my extender to pick up the internet!! It connects to my modem and the wifi is working! But I have internet status "unknown" pic 2 and dynamic Ip "failed" pic 1. 
So, I am really stuck! Do I need to update my extender software? If so how? Or is just a settings problem?

Sorry for the delay.

May I know what is the model number of your new router?

On the RE580D, can you see the 2.4ghz and 5ghz lit up?

----if all the lights lit up as blue, maybe you could refer to this link to manually configure the DHCP server—case3

How long have you had RE580D and when did the issue start?

Have you tried to reset the RE580D by holding the reset pinhole for 10s?
