I have purchased a RE450 range extender recently. After setting it up I've tried to connect my ps4 to the RE450 network and it showed the next error "cant connect to the WiFi network within the time limit". The thing is every other device connects perfectly to the RE450. Is there any solution? Did this problem occur to anyone else? I'll really appreciate all kind of help.

Sorry for the delay.

Have you set up the static IP address on the PS4 before?

And what is the encryption mode on the PS4, WER, or WPA/WPA2?

Since the RE450 are dual-band Wi-Fi, did you have issue on both bands?

Are you able to test the Ethernet connection with RE450 on PS4 as well?

I haven't set a static ip on the ps4.

the encryption mode is probably WPA2.

both bands will not connect to the ps4 and have the same issue.

the connection with an Ethernet cable works, but when I do a speed test on my phone while connected to the re450 WiFi the speed is faster than the ps4 ( while connected with an Ethernet cable)
