My Android tpplc app used to be able to show my powerline devices when I connected to the WiFi with my phone. In the past month or two the Android app stopped showing me the powerline devices. It always says no devices found. The devices are still visible when I use the Windows app on a computer. Is the Adroid app broken somehow? Will there be an update to fix this soon?

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Did you have TL-PA4010KIT( 2*TL-PA4010), or TL-WPA4220kit (TL-PA4010+TL-WPA4220)?

If it is TL-PA4010kit, since it has no Wi-Fi ability, so are you trying to say that you were able to see the powerline adapters on the tpPLC APP when you are connected to the home router’s Wi-Fi, but now you cannot ?

 

Or it is TL-WPA4220KIT, and now even through you are connected to the Wi-Fi of TL-WPA4220, there would be no device on the APP?

And even through there Is no device, can you still get internet service from TL-WPA4220? and be able to log into the web interface via http://tplinkplc.net ？

Thanks for the response. I have both the TL-PA4010KIT and the TL-WPA4220kit. I have these 4 devices in my home. I have had them for a year or two now. I connect to the devices through the home WiFi not the TP-Link device WiFi. I could always connect to the devices for a long time through the home WiFi and I have used the same home router with WiFi for these past years. The connection to the powerline devices from the Android app used to be solid and work every time. Now it only works about 1 in 20 times I use the app. Since none of the hardware changed I was wondering if it is an app issue?
