Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hi, I currently have TL-WPA4220 KIT, which gets me around 50Mbps rate (according to tpPLC) and up to 20Mbps actual speed (speedtest.net). Both with cable and wifi. The building has poor wiring, that's a given :) So the problem probably lies there. There also might be different circuits...

The question is - my model is somewhat outdated. Will buying newer model (say TL-PA7010 KIT) help me to improve the speed or the quality of wiring is a hard limit, and I won't get any more speed no matter which model I buy?

Thanks in advance!

@HomeUser

Good day.

Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

I am afraid that higher model of the power-line adapter would not improve the speed;

And TL-PA7010kit does not have wireless ability;

Thank you very much.
