Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

For those of us who have been waiting for OneMesh to come out for the dozen or so devices marked as "Planned" on the OneMesh site, is it safe to assume that the new line of devices sporting AI-Mesh means that OneMesh will never be forthcoming?

Hi, the developer does provide a beta version for the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000, you can install it on yours if you want to build up an Onemesh network with an existing Onemesh range extender. Get the download link from the below thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/261318

The official version will be available soon, you can wait for the official version if you don't want to use the beta firmware.

Thanks a lot.

Hello, thanks for asking again and reopening a new thread.

While we have responded to the previous AX11000 Onemesh thread several times that there is no ETA for the new firmware that supports Onemesh, we need our customers to check the compatibility list on the official website themselves:

https://www.tp-link.com/onemesh/product-list/

If you haven't purchased one that supports Onemesh, please refer to the ones that already equipped with Onemesh on the current firmware. If you have already purchased it, you may need to wait for the firmware, as we cannot provide an exact date for it, sorry about that.

@Kevin_Z You're most welcome. Can you comment on whether AI Mesh is the same as OneMesh, or if they are at all compatible?

Hello, AI mesh seems more like the mesh technology on the TP-Link Deco mesh, you may check it by yourself:

ASUS AI Mesh: https://www.asus.com/microsite/AiMesh/en/index.html

TP-Link Mesh Wi-Fi: https://www.tp-link.com/mesh-wifi/

While I don't think AI mesh will be compatible with TP-Link Mesh Wi-Fi, as the methods and technologies used by each network provider are different and there is no way to combine different brand products to build a Mesh network.

I hope this answers your inquiry, good day.
