I successfully installed my new AV600 Extender Kit and connected my Mac to the network. Everything works fine with one single strange exception: When watching videos (e.g. on YouTube, but also elsewhere) via Safari there is no sound. It works fine via Chrome or Firefox. When I return to the main router then also the audio via Safari is back on. Any idea why this can happen?

@Solla-topee

Many thanks for your reply. My model is the WPA4226 Kit(EU) and my MacOS version is 10.13.6.

It is difficult now for me to reproduce this problem, as it had disappeared after a full restart of all components (should have done this before writing to the forum, but it was really weird to have audio working with the main router and not with the Powerline extender). Thus currently everything is working smoothly.

@Muscicapa

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Is your model number TL-WPA4220kit or TL-PA4010kit?

How about the hardware and firmware version about the AV600 kit?

If it is 4220kit, are you able to test on the IPhone to see if the same issue still exited?

Basically, any online video streaming via Safari on Mac has no sound, but they are working fine on the Chrome or Firefox?

May I know the model number  and operating system of your MacBook?

Thanks a lot!
