Solution Update TP-Link USB Printer Controller for macOS Big Sur

Currently TP-Link USB Printer Controller only support until MacOS Catalina. Please update it and support for MacOS Big Sur

Hello Everyone,
We have now updated a new official version for the printer controller utility, which supports printer sharing on the Mac Big Sur Version 11.x/12.x (ensure first your router firmware supports the printer sharing feature), you may install it to give it a go.
Note: This printer controller utility doesn't support the latest Apple M1 Chip.

Hello, may I know the model number of your TP-Link device? Have you tried the latest USB Printer Controller on the official website? Can you install it on the MacOS Big Sur?

The device is Archer C1200. I tired installing the latest in MacOS Big Sur but unable to complete the installation.

@Kevin_Z I like to up this thread, I am also a frequent user of thsi utility, afte rupdating to Big Sur cannot use my printer due to the incompatiblity of TP-Link USB Printer Utility. I hope we get an update soon.

Are you both requiring the printer controller utility to work on the latest macOS Big Sur? We are sorry that we don't have the latest version for that now, we have reported this issue to the developers and once we have any update, we will release it on the official website, thanks.

Yes I've tried installing the latest version of USB Printer Controller but unfortunately it did not work.
I hope you solve this issue for Mac Big Sur Version 11.0.1 (20B29).

Hello, thanks for getting back.
Sorry that we currently don't have the latest printer controller utility for the latest Mac Big Sur Version 11.0.1, as we understand that this is a big change on the macOS, so printer controller is not compatible with it now.
While we cannot guarantee you we will release new printer controller utility for Mac Big Sur Version 11.0.1, as this functions is not available on most of our routers, it is suggested to connect your printer to the router with Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi.
