Failed to set-up my tp-link extender TL-WA855RE as a range extender mode.

Why is my TP-Link Adapter not working as a range extender mode, by contrast, it's connected smoothly as an access point?

May I know the model number of your home router?
And when you set up the TL-WA855RE as a range extender, would you see the RE and signal lights lit up?

Signal indicator on my range extender is solid blue, and wifi icon keeps showing exclamation mark.
