Hi I have just purchased new a mr600 to upgrade from my mr400 ( all working) but when I take my Vodafone sim out of the mr 400 and put it in the mr600 it's not recognising it ??

it just says insert sim?

Does this MR600 cannot detect the SIM card at all? Take out the SIM card, reset the MR600 to factory defaults, restart it, then insert the SIM card again.

 

Meanwhile, please check if the firmware of the MR600 is up-to date, if not, update it, then confirm again.

 

BTW, did you use the sticker in the package to fix the SIM card firmly on the SIM cardholder? What if you try another SIM card, will it be detected?
