Hi,
Have you tried http://tplinkplclogin.net to see if you could log into the web interface?
Or download the old powerline scan utility to change the Wi-Fi name and password.
https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/TL-WPA281_V3_Powerline_Scan_Utility.zip
But if you are able to find the IP address of the TL-WPA4220 on the home router, you could also try to log in via IP address.
