Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200714 rel.18254(5553)

I do not have any 5GHz devices connected to the Archer AX6000 router.

  1. Can I shut down the 5GHz channel and just keep 2.4GHz channel running?
  2. If I shut down the 5GHz channel, will the 2.4GHz channel get faster or the range of the 2.4GHz channel increase?

1. Most routers allow you to shut either or both WIFI networks off in the advance functions of your router. 2. Shutting the 5GH network of would have very little affect if any on speed on the 2.4GHz network (ie processing speed) and should have no affect on the distance.
