Streaming can't be handled by router
Streaming can't be handled by router
Hello guys, I'm trying to make a screen sharing from my mobile device to my smart TV. Everything it's fine until I'm trying to play a video from any website, in my case, it was Dailymotion. The video it's loading for 2-3 seconds, then it suddenly stops, and it also disconnects me from my TV. I've tried with multiple devices(P30, P30 pro, Note 10 lite), and the result it's the same. QoS it's set on standard, I've tried on streaming but it's the same, firewall's off and the firmware version it's: 1.1.1 Build 20201012 rel.71601(4555)

I've meant, was that BETA FW given to you regarding the same issue ? The other thing I could think of is to try switching off OneMesh feature if that FW has a dedicated switch button.

@Ivaylo It was given by them because of an USB issue that they said it was solved on this beta firmware, but it looks like it didn't improve my router... I'm waiting for their answer, maybe somebody could help me starting from tomorrow cause right now it's weekend and nobody it's working

@woozle hello, yes it's perfectly working via 4G,so it's a router related problem... :(
Maybe you could try one more thing.
If your Smart TV is connected via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, then connect your smartphone to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi of your Archer C2300 or, vice versa, if your Smart TV is connected via 5 GHz Wi-Fi, then connect your smartphone via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and check if this makes any difference with regards to the screen sharing problem.

I've tried this, still doesn't work @woozle :( TP-Link didn't send me a message regarding my request and it's been 3-4 days since it...

Hi, sorry for respond late.
As suggested by Ivaylo, if the beta firmware doesn't help anything, try to update to the latest official firmware, then confirm if the screen sharing will work.
If not, you can discuss this with the senior engineers directly via email, we will remind them also, thanks.

@Kevin_Z No problem for the late reply, it's ok, unfortunately, I have the latest firmware, so I don't think there's something to do, maybe a TP-Link engineer could help me to look into my config and see if it's something wrong...
