Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Is there anyway to change the IMEI for this router?

Due to my service provider has locked the SIM card to their stock router IMEI,

i need to change the IMEI of the MR200 router so i could use the SIM card on it.

Didn't realize the lock until i bought the router and it can't connect to the network.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Coconutshake

As far as I know, the IMEI of the router cannot be changed or modified. May I know who is your ISP, please? I have never heard this IMEI lock before, we will check this further.

@Kevin_Z

It's Maxis Broadband from Malaysia. It's one of their business package fiber internet backup 4G SIM card. The SIM card is locked to their stock router's IMEI. To be able to use the SIM card with aftermarket router, the IMEI of the aftermarket router need to be changed to match the IMEI in order to make the SIM works. If there's anyway i could change the IMEI, that would be a great help.
