My AV600 isn't connected to the internet since shortly and the corresponding light isn't burning anymore. I have no idea why or how this happened. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Did you mean the powerline light on the TL-WPA4220 did not lit up green anymore?
Have you tried to reset the 4220 and pair them again to have a look？
By the way, how long have you had the 4220?
If plugging the two adapters next to each other, would the powerline light lit up green and internet service come back?
