RE has been working great for over two months, but now will not connect to router even after reset through WPS. Should I do a factory reset?

May I know the model number of your range extender?
How about the model number of your main router as well?
Please try to do a factory reset first and set up again to see what happened;

After the setup, did you see any 2.4ghz and 5ghz lit up?
--if not, could you please log into the RE305 and save a picture of the settings>network map page for me;
And please also try to update the following firmware to have a look:
