TL-WA1201 multi-SSID unreliable/unusable
I bought your TL-WA1201 for multi-SSID, but it is so unreliable that it is useless. On your support chat they told me it's a known issue, but can't give me a fix date and cannot offer an alternative (apparently TL-WA1201 is the only AP you do that "supports" multi-SSID). If I need multi-SSID now, can you advise what options I have please?

Hello TPLink / @Wizz
I have recently upgraded / purchased TL-WA1201 v3 and it says it has latest firmware and details are as follows:
I have recently upgraded from TL-WA901N , where it supports the multi-tagging on VLAN and Multi-SSID, but lacks 5Ghz band.
After upgrade, the multi-SSID dont support Multi VLANs on 1201 and all client devices are conected on a single VLAN ID itself.
Could you please confirm if this firmware has the beta fix for multi-SSID / multi-tagging VLANs ? and any tentative timelines to get it through for v3?
If not, i shall return the newer hardware and save some bucks until you push it through !
Regards,
Akash

Hello @AkashB
As far as I know TL-WA1201 V3 does not have known instability issue, can you help with detailing the concern and help desribe like the phenomena, and the topology.
You may attach some information here
1-The model of router, and the network topology
e.g. ISP router-switch Model XX - AP
What are the network devices that connected to this AP?
2- the photo of Multi-SSID mode settings on the AP, and photos of VLAN settings on the switch
We created a support email for you to look into it, can you please check if you receive the email TKID221100811

Unfortunately, i had sinilar issue where i couldn't get it working, hence i have to degrade toTL-WA901N , where it supports the multi-tagging on VLAN and Multi-SSID, but lacks 5Ghz band.
If you OK to work on 2.5GHz bandwidth, i would recommend that.
