Hey Colin
Have you logged into the router and setup the internet connection? Best thing to do is go through the wizard and enter your Talk Talk username / password etc.. If you can provide any more details we will help you with this

Hey
The address 192.168.1.1 is not always the default for routers, this can vary massively.
You would need to find your IP address to know this, on a windows pc cabled in open the start menu and select RUN > type cmd > in the command prompt type ipconfig > look for your IP address, it will be something like 192.168.0.23 whatever it is change the last to 1 and type that into the browser (eg 192.168.0.1) and that should take you to the router page
Once there run the wizard, are you a VDSL or ADSL connection? If you are UK then its likely VDSL.. if your internet speed is faster than 8mbps then choose VDSL
Any hassle just reply back

Im not sure what you mean by saying you are not able to enter the numbers? The IP address wil be handed to the laptop/desktop from teh router directly. Once you know your IP you should be able to get onto it ok
Ill be online a bit tomorrow and will try to reply where possible, see if you get the IP first
