C80 Internet drop randomly
I've been noticing some internet drops at irregular intervals. When it happens the "internet" led turns orange for like 30secs them everything comes back to normal.
Seems to me that wireless usage might have something to do with it. When im using YouTube on my TV (cable) + my phone everything looks fine, when a third device (been my wife using her phone or notebook via wifi) is used the connection drops, i can't say that is 100% accurate but i replicated it a couple of times.
I've tried putting router IP in moden's DMZ, using Google's DNS and restarting router at least once a day.
Anybody had something similar?

Hello @ratnam, we are happy to tell you that there is a new firmware for the Archer C80(US) V1, you can try to install it on your C80, then check the connectivity.

Just to confirm, who is your ISP? Is the WAN connection type Dynamic IP or PPPoE? Have you confirmed the internet is stable from the ISP modem by connecting a computer directly to it?
Meanwhile, it is suggested to try with a different cat 5e or cat 6 cable between the modem and the C80, then monitor.

@Dani_Bischoff hi did you sort this ive only had this router a few days moved from the a Vodafone hub
I also use a openreach modem which then goes to this router it was fine at first mines on PPPoE
I then noticed a firmware update to the latest software which I did so not sure if that's the problem as did that the same night as installed it
but last night I was watching Netflix and it happened twice very random
and apparently in the day my kids told me never had this problem with the hub which makes me think it's a software/hardware issue

When the internet drops on the C80, how about the internet LED on it, is it still green or orange? Who is your ISP? Is the openreach modem in bridge mode, and you dial up on the C80 with your PPPoE username and password?
If the internet LED becomes orange when the internet drops, please login to the web interface of the C80, confirm if there is still a WAN IP address. If there is, please try to change the DNS server to something else different from that assigned by your ISP, such as 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then reboot the C80 to check again.
If the internet LED is always green, please check if you can get a stable connection by connecting a computer to the C80 with an Ethernet cable. If this is stable, please then confirm if it is the 2.4G or the 5G not stable, try to run a Wi-Fi analyzer to review all the channels, choose one that with less interference, then monitor again.

Please ensure you are running the latest firmware on the C80, then confirm my previous suggestions if the issue persists.
BTW, who is your ISP?
