tl-mr6500v analog phone error
I use tl-mr6500v router with a Ho mobile SIM card.
Internet connection and SMS work, but I cannot receive and transimit calls by an analog phone plugged ti RJ11 plug.
In system logs I read:
ERROR: Get sim card number failed (0).
ERROR: Get sim card number failed (0).
How can I solve?
Thank you

I have the same problem with ISP Ho mobile: i cannot make VoLTE phone calls; I get the same errors:
ERROR: Get sim card number failed (0).
ERROR: 0x00000010 QMI_ERR_NOT_PROVISIONED
I cannot believe the router is faulty since it has the same problems of the other user. The SIM works properly on a smartphone with VoLTE.
The router is brand new.
I have already contacted my ISP and the problem is not related to the ISP.
If the problem cannot be solved, I will send back to the seller.
Thanks for your help
Regards

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
The router does not support SSH login yet so it did not provide the option to input the password.
Later, I would follow up on your case via email, and please have a check of your email box.
At the same time, could you please reply to my email with the following information:
- may I know who is your ISP?
- Could you please send me some pictures of your VOLTE configuration?
- Please also save the whole system log to me;
Thank you very much.

Thanks for the reply.
I still do not know if the problem can be fixed in the future without hw repair.
I do not have another SIM card with VoLTE with different ISP.

@GioGi @jimmy6500 @OverBurn @TP-Link
According to the Amazon reviews for this device https://www.amazon.it/TP-Link-TL-MR6500v-Wireless-configurazione-smontabili/product-reviews/B08N5FCWX7/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewopt_srt?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews&formatType=current_format&pageNumber=1&sortBy=recent (please scroll to the bottom part of the page - the upper part also comprises reviews for other devices), there seems to be a VoLTE problem for the Italian provider Ho Mobile - but not for other Italian providers like Wind or Iliad.
@TP-Link but the aforementioned error messages also appear for other providers (o2 Germany in my case) and should be corrected in a future firmware version.

Hi, could you please help me run the following test as well:
Please insert the same SIM card into your phone and enable hotspot on the phone, then connect another client device to the hotspot. You could try to call the SIM number and check if the phone will still stay on 4G and if internet still works.Thank you very much.
