Hi, did you mean the Google play APP or the URL website?
How about trying to block tp-link.com and google.net, then check whether these websites are still reachable?

I need to block Google play the app on smartphones, but nothing worked for both the app and the website
I tried for wikipedia by just typing the word wikipedia without the url and it worked immediately for the whole website and for any language of the website
I tried for google but also didn't work
I'm thinking maybe google uses other url's for their websites behind the seen
