Hello,

 

I have an issue with my Archer T9UH adapter,  i have 1Gbps fiber connection and my router is 4x4 MIMO with up to 1700Mbps negotiation rate.

when i connect my adapter to my laptop (ASUS ROG 512LI) in USB 3.0 port i got 1.3Gbps negotiation rate, but when i use speedtest.net to measure the speed i do not got more than 250Mbps !

 

can anyone help in this issue ?

@UMJ  Good day, 

 

If you have any old wireless adapter, please disable old wireless adapter. 

You could set router's 5Ghz channel width to 80Mhz and test speed again. 

 

If the adapter still does not get full speed, may I know how about 5Ghz speed on your other devices? What is your ISP bandwidth? 

Please connect to router 5Ghz, and share your Speedtest result and a photo of 5Ghz link/negotiate speed on laptop, thank you.

Hello I have 1000Mbps bandwidth from my ISP (1Gbps) My original WiFi card got 700Mbps Archer T9UH Adapter got 250Mbps on 5Ghz with 80MHz channel width. Neg. Rate for T9UH is 1300Mbps on 5Ghz. I think the problem that my Laptop recognize the adapter as (USB2.0) even though its connected on USB3.0 Port. Is there any way to force the adapter to work as USB3.0 device !?
